Page 83 where four Jews are hung for illegal trading goods. This scene is unlike other by being silently impactful. The page itself has less text and takes up more space for the gruesome illustration of the hanged. White empty spaces above their heads and two close up panels of their hanging feet on the bottom comes across as a very tense and uneasy environment. One that would make a memorable impression. The next panel on the following page (page 84) uses repetition in the illustration by illustrating the hanged heads at the top of the composition as a dark and unforgettable memory. The panel is significantly darker than the rest of the page and certainly stands out as a scene in the book.
